I am graduating a degree in International Business and Politics at Copenhagen Business School. I enjoy using systems-thinking and network theory to understand finance and economics. This often gets labelled 'political economy'.
I'm a skilled data analyst, comfortable in both quantitative and qualitative research. I'm trained in statistical methods, including machine learning, using Python, R, and SQL.
I think the interdependence within systems and processes is the source of their value-creation, and I think that understanding this 'emergent' quality of productivity is vital to any analysis of a system's elements, or of a process's stages. It's not enough to see both the 'trees' and the 'forest' – you must also see how one creates the other.
I have multiple years' experience in marketing, leading creative and technical teams to define brand identities, craft appropriate strategies, and continuously improve customer / user experiences and journeys.
I've also managed communications, external and internal, and worked as a professional writer in multiple contexts: copy and commercial, technical, content, business, and academic.
I freelance as an editor, clarifying and sharpening manuscripts' language and arguments.
I'm formally educated in digital media and audio-visual communication. I trained in crafting messages that motivate audiences' investment and action, and sequencing those messages into narratives that maintain engagement.
Additionally, I have years of career experience in organizing, administrating, documenting and optimizing complex projects, business processes and operational logistics. I still often consult businesses on how to become more efficient by showing them how to make and deliver better products with fewer resources.
I have an unconditional offer for master's study at the London School of Economics, for which I'm still finding funding.
